아레초-피렌체 철도 노선을 따라 위치한 Borratino 고가교는 1,350미터에 걸쳐 이어져 있습니다. Italferr는 기존 및 잠재적 구조 손상을 판별하기 위한 구조 모니터링 시스템을 개발하는 작업을 맡았습니다. 하지만 구조를 조사하면서 운영을 유지하고 방대한 양의 캡처 데이터를 관리하는 데 어려움을 겪었습니다. Italferr는 구조 분석을 수행하고 디지털 실시간 모니터링을 위한 최적의 센서 배치를 결정하기 위해 3D 모델을 생성하여 사전 예방적 관리 및 유지관리 지원을 원했습니다. 따라서 종합적인 현실 모델링 및 협업 디지털 트윈 플랫폼이 필요했습니다. Leveraging ContextCapture, ProjectWise, and the Bentley iTwin platform, Italferr generated a 3D reality mesh and digital twin of the existing viaduct. Bentley’s applications reduced modeling times and provided a connected digital environment to analyze static and dynamic bridge behavior and identify optimal placement of digital sensors for real-time condition monitoring. The digital twin solution facilitates targeted, cost-effective maintenance intervention and will monitor about 1,500 infrastructure assets over a 10-year period, estimated to save EUR 70 million.
