Project summary

The redevelopment of the Prague Main Railway Station gives SUDOP PRAHA a trusted digital baseline for one of Czechia’s most important live rail hubs. The team developed a BIM model, processed survey and point-cloud data, coordinated historical documentation, and incorporated future development context. The work addressed fragmented records across point clouds, photography, underground information, and drawings dating back to around 1900.

Using Bentley Descartes, MicroStation, ProjectWise, iTwin, and Bentley LumenRT, SUDOP PRAHA connected models, point clouds, and non-graphical information into a digital twin. The workflow managed approximately 75 gigabytes of project data and delivered an estimated 15% efficiency gain. The digital twin helps investors and stakeholders assess future redevelopments before construction begins, supporting better urban coordination and fewer unknowns.
