PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung Tbk led delivery of Jakarta International Stadium, an 82,000-seat venue built to FIFA standards in North Jakarta. The team had to build on a swampy, waterlogged site, coordinate five specialist subcontractors, and execute Indonesia’s first fully retractable roof within a 36-month target during the pandemic.
Using Bentley applications, the team connected structural validation, fabrication-ready outputs, 4D construction sequencing, field coordination, pedestrian simulation, and stakeholder visualization. The workflow helped validate a 270-meter, 3,900-ton roof lift to 65 meters, save 753,000 work hours, generate approximately 28,000 hours of efficiency gains, and keep construction waste under 7%. It also supported safer crowd movement and a Platinum Green Building-certified stadium.
