Alberto Iniesta leads Worley Consulting’s digital twin offerings across EMEA and APAC, overseeing strategy, client engagements, project delivery, partnerships, and profit and loss growth. He began his career with Honeywell UOP’s field operating services team, gaining hands-on experience in commissioning and start-up. At Repsol, Alberto worked as a lead process engineer delivering capital projects across downstream and upstream, before leading the upstream division digital twin transformation program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master’s degree in chemical engineering, and a global master’s degree in business analytics and big data from IE School of Human Sciences and Technology.

Andrius Jurelionis is dean of the faculty of civil engineering and architecture at Kaunas University of Technology. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching and higher education management. Andrius’ expertise includes education and the digitalization of the built environment. In 2019, he established the Centre for Smart Cities and Infrastructure (CSCI) at KTU and has since been involved in numerous research projects, industry–university collaborations, hackathons, and Ph.D. schools focused on urban digital twins.

Anne-Marie Friel is projects partner of Pinsent Masons, where she works as a non-contentious construction and infrastructure specialist lawyer, advising clients in the U.K. and internationally on major projects. She is expert in collaborative contracting, NEC, contractual joint ventures, sustainability, and digitalization in construction.

Ben Townsend, Google’s head of infrastructure and sustainability, is responsible for the company’s efforts to deliver global infrastructure while driving footprint reductions across energy, carbon, and water. He led the ground-up development of Google’s climate-conscious cooling strategy, as well as commitments to 120% water replenishment and responsible water use. Ben also led the development of Google’s net-zero carbon reduction initiative across Google’s data center infrastructure portfolio. Joining Google in 2019, Ben has served as a technical advisor to state leaders, members of the U.S. Congress, and global policy think-tanks. He is a graduate of Purdue University, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering.

Chloé Meyer is a senior research director at Bluefield Research. She is part of Bluefield’s consulting practice where she provides industry insights and strategic guidance to solution providers and investors navigating the water sector. Prior to joining Bluefield, Chloé worked as a project manager in UNESCO’s Division of Water Sciences, with a focus on governance, transboundary cooperation, and information management in the Mediterranean region. She holds a MA in geography and water management from Paris Nanterre University.

Chris Jackson is technical director at the engineering consultancy WSP and visiting professor of basin analysis at Imperial College London. Chris is interested in understanding how we can use the Earth’s subsurface to safely store hazardous waste and to develop low-carbon energy resources. When not studying the subsurface of the Earth, Chris gives geoscience lectures to the public and in schools, and is engaged in efforts to improve equality, diversity, and inclusivity within science and engineering.

David Skilling is the founding director of Landfall Strategy Group, a research and advisory firm based in the Netherlands. He advises firms, investors, and governments on issues at the intersection of geopolitics, global macro, and economic policy, providing insights on positioning for global dynamics. David has previously served as senior advisor to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade in New Zealand, was an associate principal with McKinsey & Company in Singapore, a senior fellow with the McKinsey Global Institute, and principal advisor at the New Zealand Treasury. David has a Ph.D. in public policy and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University, as well as a master of commerce degree in economics from the University of Auckland.

Graham Openshaw, digital director for Assystem in the UK, has worked on landmark programmes, building collaborative teams and solutions and driving sustainable, value-led change by drawing upon his experience in project management, engineering, and digital transformation. He is a digital transformation leader who has spent his career helping engineering and infrastructure projects embrace innovation.

Guy Beaumont is a director and digital consulting lead in Turner & Townsend’s London office, responsible for over 135 consultants developing new digital services, solutions, and capabilities to transform the performance of the U.K.’s most complex capital and asset management programs. Guy has worked across program management, digital advisory, software engineering, data analytics, and IT consulting business areas, implementing innovative solutions that improve productivity, intelligence, and sustainability.

Holger Kessler is a senior stakeholder manager at AtkinsRéalis, bringing over 25 years of experience in developing scientific, technical, operational, and policy solutions to geoscience challenges. Holger has led major initiatives, including the research and stakeholder engagement phases of the UK National Underground Asset Register and the “Future of the Subsurface” Foresight project for the Government Office for Science.

James Moore, managing director, urban solutions at Hatch, has 35 years of experience working with cities and clients around the world with a particular emphasis on complex urban regeneration projects, looking to optimize the benefits of urban growth while reducing undesirable impacts. Liv Carroll is a managing director of Accenture, serving as the EMEA mining lead and global natural resources lead for Data & AI. She is a director on the board and chair of the Governance Committee of the Global Mining Guidelines Group (GMG) and supports the next generation as a scrutineer for Chartership at the Geological Society. Liv holds an MSc in mineral project appraisal from the Imperial College Royal School of Mines and a BSc in geology from Durham University.

Mark Campodonic is a corporate consultant for resource geology and a practice leader of SRK UK, with over 20 years of international experience in mineral exploration, resource estimation, and project development. He specializes in authoring and auditing resource estimates in compliance with International Reporting Codes, for independent assessments and as part of multi-disciplinary technical studies, auditing mining operations as part of Competent Person’s Reports and Stock Exchange Listings, and technical reviews. Mark has worked on base metals, precious-metals, bulk commodities (bauxite and iron ore), diamond, and industrial mineral projects throughout Europe, Africa, Middle-East, Russia, the CIS, Asia, and the Americas.

Mark Tablante is the design technology director for Burns & McDonnell. He is responsible for the strategic integration of current and emerging technologies, as well as automation, within the transmission and distribution (T&D) global practice. Mark is part of a dedicate team that ensures Burns and McDonnell remains at the forefront of T&D innovation, driving the company’s success in an ever-evolving technological landscape.

Michael Pearson, digital delivery program manager at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, leads the agency’s efforts in implementing building information modeling for infrastructure and advancing digital delivery strategies that improve efficiency, collaboration, and data governance. He has over 25 years of experience in transportation design, management, and digital strategy and specializes in promoting openBIM standards.

Nuno Medeiros has over 30 years of experience in the water utilities sector as a senior professional at EPAL. He is currently Head of Asset Management. His career has been marked by continuous learning and evolving responsibilities across various domains. He began in the field of water quality monitoring but soon transitioned to customer management. However, his interest in infrastructure led him to take on the role of Head of Infrastructure Maintenance at EPAL. He also worked in EPAL’s Research, Innovation and Development Division, where he was responsible for overseeing R&D projects in collaboration with operational departments. Additionally, he has advised EPAL’s Board of Directors on several technological and organizational initiatives. Academically, Nuno holds a degree in Biology, an MBA in Management and Marketing, and a specialization in Digital Transformation of Organizations from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics.

Rafael de Santiago Silva is a committed advocate for digital transformation in infrastructure, with over 20 years of experience in the mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors across Australia and Brazil. He is currently the national digital engineering systems lead for Australia and New Zealand at Acciona, where he has been overseeing major infrastructure projects.

Rebeca Herrera is an architect and Head of Innovation in Building Permits at the City of Madrid, where she leads the MADRIDdbp project to digitalise and automate building permit processes. With over 13 years of experience in the built environment sector, she has extensive expertise in BIM implementation and urban digital transformation. Rebeca has contributed to European Union–funded research on Digital Building Permits through projects such as CHEKdbp and DigiChecks, and actively participates in EUnet4DBP, the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI), and buildingSMART Spain, representing the City of Madrid in working groups on digitalisation and AI in urban planning.

Rod Naylor is a prominent water industry and infrastructure leader with 40 years’ experience in the water and environmental industries in Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., and the U.S. He is a principal and shareholder of GHD and the company’s global lead water. Rod is also a director of the Australian Water Association and of water-tech startup Divirod Inc., which is working to build the world’s most comprehensive water data lake and analytics platform. Savannah Altvater is head of the distribution and markets facilitation team at Eurelectric. In this role, she oversees the policy issues related to distribution networks and Eurelectric’s business intelligence activities. She is engaged in different topics such as flexibility, digitalization of the power system, planning and investment, and grid integration of distributed energy resources. Savannah holds a master’s degree in European Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.

Stephanie Gossman serves as Georgia Power’s Planning & Policy general manager for transmission and distribution. She has worked for Southern Company for nearly 20 years, with most of that time spent in planning, operations, maintenance, and policy. Stephanie has also led regulated and unregulated customer programs to provide customers with electric transportation infrastructure needs in Georgia Power’s Sales and Marketing organization.

Steven Fercho serves as the exploration geoscience manager for Fervo Energy, bringing 17 years of experience in geothermal exploration and development. Since joining Fervo in 2021, he has lead modeling efforts for the company’s future project portfolio in a wide array of geologic settings. Steven holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in earth sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Vaseem Khan is senior vice president, operations for McDermott, and a member of its executive committee. In this role, he leads McDermott’s Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for oversight of operations worldwide. Vaseem is also responsible for the McDermott’s enterprise risk management program. Vaseem has over 35 years of experience in engineering, construction, and project delivery, and has held positions in onshore and offshore engineering, site and completions management, project management, and regional operations in several countries. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and attended an international business management program at Royal Holloway College, London.

YJ Kim is an AI technical lead at Mott MacDonald, serving within the Group AI & Information Management team. She is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of scalable AI solutions across the organization, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business strategy. YJ has over 10 years of experience in data science across the retail, finance, and infrastructure consulting industries, and holds a Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of Chicago.

Yuan Lei serves as the technical lead for China Baowu Steel Group’s research project, “Key Technology Research and Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Design, Delivery, and Operation of Digital Twin Factories.” She also holds the positions of vice chairman at both the Siemens Manufacturing and Engineering Center and Siemens Mobility Electrical Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Lei has accumulated extensive leadership experience across multiple key roles at Baosteel and China Baowu Design Institute. As a professor-level senior engineer and senior accountant, Lei is a graduate of Harvard University’s General Management Program (GMP).
