The Interstate Bridge Replacement Program (IBR) will replace the aging bridge across the Columbia River with a modern, seismically resilient structure that provides improved mobility for people, goods, and services. WSP is the general engineering consultant and wanted to implement digital twins throughout the lifecycle of the project. Faced with coordination challenges engaging with contractors, the public, and government entities, WSP needed an integrated digital delivery platform.They selected the Bentley iTwin platform and ProjectWise, creating a structured framework and information management processes that support BIM transportation strategies and the development of digital twins.
